About Me

Hello! I'm Apryl Rena (pronounces with a short e and long a), thank you for taking a look at my site. For as long as I can remember I have loved taking pictures. In elementary school we had a classroom camera that we were allowed to use to take pictures of our day or what we were working on. 99% of the time that camera was in my hand. My freshman year of high school I took a photography class from a local professional photographer. I started really getting into photography during college when I did some couple shoots and shoots for family members or friends. For a while I did whatever came my way but couldn't quite find my focus. Flash forward to now, I am now a full time 1st grade teacher. During my first year of teaching I took a break from photography because it was just too much. This summer was the first time I had picked up my camera in a long time. I did a maternity shoot for my aunt & uncle. That shoot sparked the passion again and showed me what my focus was meant to be. I love kids and I love family (I mean come on, I'm with kids ALL day everyday). Thus was born Rena's View Photography.

I am a very natural photographer. I'm not in to all of that turn your head this way or that way posing nonsense. I like to capture the raw moments, the ones that you maybe wouldn't think I'd catch. The photos of your baby sneezing mid photo, or your child spinning around in circles without a care in the world. That's what I live for and that's why I do what I do.
